On May 5,2012 in Rochester, NY, 15 year old Ms. Nicole O’Grady broke seven (7) 1″ boards held by the Breaking Machine. Ms. O’Grady (1st Dan) is the student of Mr. Greg Gartland (3rd Dan). Looks like she is preparing for the Grand Champion Title for our November Tournament.

The State Games Of Tennessee

Hello to everyone and how are you? I would like to pass on some exciting news which will involve Tae Park Tae Kwon Do. Myself and Dr. Said Nabhan had a meeting in Memphis, Tennessee last night with the Head of The State Games Of Tennessee. We had a very good meeting with him and he was very impressed with our organization. After a 18 year absence Tennessee is going to have a State Games. Lewis Institute Of Tae Park Tae Kwon Do will be the Host Organization for the Tae Kwon Do Competition for the State Games. The Tennessee State Games will take place on the weekend of June 15-17 2012.

The Tennessee State Games will be held in the Memphis, Tennessee area and the Tae Kwon Do Competition will take place just north of Memphis in Millington, Tennessee at The United States Of America Naval Facility. As of right now the Tae Kwon Do Competition will take place on June 16th. We will have access to a large facility and we can make it a all day event if we choose to. More information will be coming very soon.

TN Seminar (3/9-10) News

Hello to everyone and how are you? I hope that everyone had a good holiday season. I would like to briefly talk to everyone about the seminar.

The seminar will be March 9th & 10th at Dyersburg State Community College in Dyersburg, Tennessee. A host of students, Masters, Senior Masters, Junior Grandmasters, and Grandmasters will be present. Special guest will be Grandmaster Tae Zee Park, President & Founder of Tae Park Tae Kwon Do of the United States Of America.

The seminar will once again focus on Breaking but several other very interesting topics will be discussed and taught. The price of the seminar is $70.00 which includes 5 special approved Tae Park TKD Boards.

On friday night March 9th there will be a Masters Testing probably around 7 p.m. On Saturday March 10th after the conclusion of the Seminar we will have Color-Belt and Black-Belt Testing followed by our Organizational Party And Dinner.

March is just around the corner and Myself and My Staff are looking forward in seeing everyone and I am sure that we are going to have another successful and great event. Take care, be safe, and I will talk to everyone very, very, soon.
